TPCK Framework

Pedagogical uses of technology require the development of a complex, situated form of knowledge that we call Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPCK). TPCK is a framework that helps teachers understand how to integrate technology to their lesson, explaining how they need to use these three components; technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge in order to have an edtech integration lesson. This framework seems difficult to use but it actually is not too hard to use. TPCK establishes what they know, what they want their students to know, using content & strategies with a form of technology to become a unified system. An example of this framework is that instead of using books or composition notebooks the teacher may add an assignment on getepic.com and notes on a google document or PowerPoint.
